Adult Torah study and education on current Israeli events, music, prayers and other topics are led by Hazzan Sarah Alexander.

Adults were interested in furthering their Hebrew education, and the Hebrew classes were launched and will be continued in the near future. Keep checking back for more about learning to read Hebrew and Hebrew Grammar.

These principles have been described as a "Jewish catechism", and here are those today who say that belief in them is incumbent on all Jews. This was not Maimonides' original intent. We'll
delve deeper into each of the principles, and study the history of their composition.

What is a Conservative Jew?" Emet Ve'emunah, the groundbreaking publication detailing the Conservative Movement's stance on a number of important issues, has been sadly neglected. Let's explore what our rabbis say it means to be Conservative today.

"Exploring the Conservative Siddur" Our Siddur is very similar to an Orthodox siddur. Similar enough, in fact, that someone who is familiar with one could easily daven (pray) with the other. The differences may appear small, a word here, a phrase there, but the philosophy behind them is extremely significant.

"Hebrew Grammar" - date TBD
Would you like to be able to look at a word and tell whether it's masculine/
feminine, plural or singular, past or present tense? 4-8 class sessions.

"Modern Halachah" The Conservative movement is a halachic movement committed to observing Jewish law. The CJL&S, the law committee of the Conservative movement, publishes responsum and teshuvot on a variety of issues. We'll study some of the latest issues.
